Calina & Dragan Wedding
On a sunny Tuesday in early June, Calina & Dragan brought their closest family and friends together in the beautiful surroundings of this fairytale chateau. The 45-person guest list had travelled from across the world, some from as far as Australia, to celebrate this special day.
Whilst being only 20 minutes by car from the department's administrative capital, Agen, the 18th century chateau is nestled in some of the most beautiful and tranquil countryside the Lot Valley has to offer. The grounds of the property alone comprise nut orchards, a lake and a magical, ancient well, not to mention the fabulous tree-lined avenue to the chateau, which Calina used to make her entrance to her ceremony overlooking the lake.
The canapé reception took place in front of the chateau, offering a magnificent backdrop, and for dinner the guests moved round to the other side of the building, where rustic wooden tables had been laid out in a large U shape, making the stunning chateau the focal point.
Florist, Le Cœur Sauvage, matched the theme perfectly with rustic floral arrangements and lavender sprigs for the napkins.
Festoon lights were erected by Love, Coralberry, which cast a beautiful warm white light over diners as the sun went down.
The party started late in the evening with the band playing on the terrace of the chateau and guests dancing below. Love, Coralberry covered the frontage in twinkling fairy lights, creating a stylish and classy dance floor to end the night.
